Elite-VB LLC is a Midtown agency focused on voluntary benefit sales and non-traditional benefits - most often representing Colonial Life. As the current President of Alaska Association of Health Underwriters (AAHU) the combined experience in my agency in voluntary sales exceeds 30 years. Nationwide, our sales force is 11,000 strong and are some of the highest trained in the industry. Colonial Life has an outstanding reputation with employers, HR professionals and brokers.

Alaska has the highest cost of healthcare in the world. The challenge this makes for employers and employees is why our industry is growing at rates never seen before as employers are looking for ways to add benefits at no cost. Studies show that 80% of employees are interested in purchasing one or more voluntary benefit to lessen their financial risk for pennies a day. Typical enrollment results yield 50% of employees electing one or more of the benefits we offer which include disability, accident, dental, life, etc.

All of our sales of voluntary, employee-paid programs are through the workplace “ we do not do any individual non-payroll sales, so most of the business is done Mon-Fri from 8-5pm. Our extreme busy season is in Fourth Quarter, when 50% of our sales are realized so this is the reason for the recruitment now to top talent.

The positions open are those of an opener (establishing accounts with employers) as well as that of a benefit counselor: a quasi inside sales opportunity as you would enroll employees in the various benefits listed above at the workplace on our award-winning enrollment platform. This person needs to have good communication and computer skills, good at interacting with people and professional.
