WorkSource in Springdale is now hiring for an Entry Level Trailer Mechanic for a facility in Springdale. ÂPreviousÂexperience working with commercial vehicles is preferred, however training will be provided for qualified applicants. Being mechanically inclined is highly beneficial to this role.
Compensation
Insurance options including medical, dental and vision
Monday through Friday
8am to 5pm

Responsibilities
Rebuild wrecked semi trailers using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment and jacks and hoists
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
Repair and/or replace brake components,including lighting, wiring and hydraulic lift gate parts
Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment
Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices

Qualifications
Previous experience repairing commercial vehicles preferred
Construction background or welding experience is a plus
Capable of working with hands to complete daily tasks
Comfortable with bending, twisting, squatting, turning and lifting up to 50lbs for the duration of the shift
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Reliable transportation
