North Coast Laboratories has an opening for an experienced metals chemist. This position will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of trace metals in aqueous, soil and cannabis matrices using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and CVAA. The candidate must be knowledgeable in the following EPA Methods: 200.7/200.8, 6010/6020 and 245.1, including sample preparation, instrument calibration, instrument operation, data processing and reporting. Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving analytical problems on the listed instrumentation. A bachelors degree in chemistry or physical science is required along with 2-years of hands-on laboratory experience with the listed instrumentation.
