IMMEDIATE OPENINGSOrder Selector (Part-time)We are searching for an experienced Order Selector (Part-time) at 2300 Cottonwood Avenue Riverside, California, 92508.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Order Selector (Part-time) reports to the Distribution Area Manager and is responsible for selecting items in the warehouse to fill orders requested by the store or other customers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with Order Selector experience.This location is a refrigerated distribution center, temperatures may vary throughout the facility. Non freezer environment.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Picks up equipment at assigned area and completes the safety check list.Obtains required pallets.Obtains order information by picking up a Talkman unit at the Control Center. Talkman unit determines items to be gathered, as well as location and sequence of collection.Assembles customer orders from stock. Places cases on pallets. Places label on completed pallets.Takes pallets to shrink wrap machine to secure the product and places pallets in the correct door assigned to that load.Returns equipment at the end of shift, cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment.Smart & Final Rewards:Starting wage at $21.35 per hourIncentive Program (earn up $6.50 more per hour)10% Associate Discount at our Smart & Final storesEmployee Assistance ProgramBenefits for Part-time Associates401(k) Retirement Savings PlanEducation ProgramsShift Times:Must be able to work swing and overnight shifts, to include weekend shifts.Required Qualifications: The ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
