Freshlunches, Inc is a food service company focused on providing healthy meals to private schools. Freshlunches will be holding open interviews for school lunch servers for the remaining of the school year. The ideal candidates enjoy working with children, have a restaurant and/or catering background and are available to work 15-20 hours per week, approximately 9:45am-1:45pm Monday-Friday throughout the school year. This job is ideal for those who are looking to supplement their income with daytime work and/or perfect for parents who need to work around a school schedule. SCHOOL LUNCH SERVERS:
Responsible for performing all the duties necessary to execute a perfect school lunch each day. Servers must have excellent knowledge of catered events as well as exceptional customer service care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that our clients receive accurate menu orders daily.
Able to drive a delivery van.
Oversees event preparation and ensure that tasks are on schedule.
Develops excellent client relationships.
Ensures that lunches are set at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time.
Assist with the service of food for each event.
Responsible for set up, break down and clean up of each lunch period.
Maintain cleanliness of all catering supplies, equipment and service vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the food and beverage industry.
Available Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
Available to attend orientation on Tuesday, January 3 from 11am-1pm.
Able to start work the week on Wednesday, January 4.
Excellent skills in guest services.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with children.
Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Positive attitude.
Must have a clean and valid drivers license.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
This position is for a school year contract. Our hiring process includes a mandatory background check.
