Real Estate & Development firm is seeking a Human Resources/Office Manager which will involve full spectrum human resources and office management responsibilities.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

$75,000-$80,000/year + Benefits

Responsibilities:

HR functional areas: timecard and payroll reporting and processing, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment and employment law compliance.

All aspects of Payroll from time keeping, vacation and sick benefits to finalizing and processing the bi-weekly payroll.

Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of employee handbook and personnel policies and procedures, in conjunction with executive team.

Conducts recruitment effort for exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writing and placing advertisements; works with supervisors and executive management to screen and interview candidates; perform reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; employee relations counseling; coordinates and orchestras annual review process.

Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.

Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.

Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning payroll and employment.

Interpreting and administering leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, USERRA, Workers Compensation etc.

Office Management functional areas: responsible for overall front office activities, managing IT, and facilities and management of the office.

Responsible for management of the office equipment, which includes but not limited to managing repairs and the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and access cards, etc.).

Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities.

Coordinates overall administrative and office activities including company functions in conjunction with Executive Director and Administrative Director.

Responsible for monthly interoffice bulletin and inter-company communication, memos and announcements. Participates as needed in special projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ years of experience in human resources and office management

Solid understanding of timecard keeping and payroll processing

Real Estate or Property Management experience a plus
