We are a major fine art logistics company looking for an experienced professional to serve as a Logistics Coordinator in a fast-paced, detail-oriented workplace.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual, who works well independently as well as in a team environment. This creative, quick-thinking person must have an eye for detail, be able to handle multiple high-priority tasks concurrently and thrive in a high-volume coordinator role.
This person must be able to proactively communicate with a variety of local and international clientele and vendors, with diplomacy and discretion.
An understanding of basic accounting and best business practices is required. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of current fine art discourse, be proficient with basic computer programs including Excel, Filemaker pro, and Microsoft Office as well freight forwarding/brokerage software.
Experience in either or both customs brokerage, and international freight forwarding is required (either Air or Sea freight). Experience in both is preferred.
Reliable transportation a must.
