Overview:
This position available consists of general construction laborer/utility worker. TravelÂmay be required but typically within the area.ÂThis position will be working as part of a crew assisting with shoveling and trenching duties. This position will require the ideal candidate to maintain work area cleanliness at all times and ensuring work vehicles are kept clean and ready to use as needed.Â
Responsibilities:
Shoveling
Assisting crew with spotting utilities for drill operator.
Restoration of asphalt and concrete
Keeping work areas clean before; during and after job completion.
Maintaining truck cleanliness; inside and out
Other laborer duties as assigned by foreman and/or supervisor.Â
Qualifications:
Must be minimum of 21 years old to drive company vehicles/operate company equipment
Valid driver license
Must be able to effectively communicate with crew.
Be available to work overtime and emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Maintain a positive attitude with team.
Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
Must have reliable transportation
Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools
Must have strong physical endurance for hot weather conditions, repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, transferring equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
Must pass company drug testing
Keep appropriate documentation (time cards, job cost, etc.)
Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by company as required.Â
