Assistant Property Manager
This is a floating position and requires reliable transportation and clean DMV. Territory generally includes the greater Sacramento area, and occasionally may include Woodland or Turlock. Office coverage of properties for management out on vacation or sick. Assist Regional Property Managers with various duties as assigned. Previous property management experience REQUIRED. Must be self-motivated, professional, very organized, detail orientated, and have excellent customer service skills. Computer proficiency required. Must have a credit score above 650 and pass a criminal background check. Non-smoking preferred.
Duties include:
Rent collections and recording
Balancing deposits and depositing checks through electronic scanner
Answering phone calls and greeting walk-in customers
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Thorough knowledge and compliance with all Fair Housing laws (training provided if necessary)
Scheduling, coordinating, and supervising maintenance staff and vendors, when necessary
Ordering maintenance supplies
Effective enforcement of all Community Rules & Regulations
Preparation and service of legal and other notices
Daily online marketing, updating ads, showing & renting vacant units
Move-ins and move-outs
Completing required reports
Responding to resident maintenance requests and complaints
Perform routine property physical inspections of units and grounds
Other duties as assigned
