READ ALL BEFORE APPLYING: Let’s cut straight to the point - We're a landscape installation company located in Roseville, and that’s where 99% of our jobs take place. This is a full-time position and you must be willing to commute to Roseville everyday.

First let’s go over what we expect from you as a candidate for this position:
1) Know Your Stuff - You must have extensive landscape installation experience for this position with no doubts about how to install basic landscape such as drainage, irrigation, sod, plants, edging, retaining walls, etc. You will be the leader of the crew and the work must be quality. We’d also expect you to be comfortable operating machinery such as skid steers and excavators.
2) Great Communication - You MUST be a great communicator. We don’t expect you to be perfect, but we always expect direct and immediate communication for whatever issues/shortcomings arise.
3) Reliable - We expect you to be on time each day and always show up. We understand things happen, but we cannot tolerate the habit of consistently missing days.
4) Honest - When someone lies to make themselves look better or avoid getting in troublethat is much worse than whatever mistake you may have made. We have ZERO tolerance for dishonesty and believe in growing from our honest failures (We all make mistakes). If you are unsure about something, bring it up so we can figure it out together.
6) Personable - This position requires you to interact with homeowners and keep them informed with the timing and details of the project. You have to be personable and comfortable talking with the customers on each job, as well as patient and understanding of their needs even if you disagree with them.
Now, let’s talk about the job requirements and what you can expect:
1 - Leading the execution of quality residential landscape installation with a crew according to specific job plans.
2 - Communicating with managers, crew members, and homeowners regarding the work details and timing throughout each project.
3 - Calling on vendors and contractors to place material orders and schedule/coordinate sub-contracted services.
4 - Continuously thinking and planning ahead for the timing on future projects to ensure a smooth workflow from job to job.
5 - Submitting checklists for each job and daily progress reports.
6 - Be solution oriented when you come across problems or new challenges, have a “can do” attitude and be quick to adapt to the task at hand.
7 - Ensure quality work to prevent future callbacks and earn good reviews from homeowners.
Overall, we don’t expect perfection, but we do expect intelligence, energy, and a get it done RIGHT attitude without taking shortcuts.
