Construction Support Services, Inc. is a new Construction Management firm based in San Diego, CA seeking to hire Construction Quality Control Managers (QCM) for various DOD projects in Southern, CA.
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for creating and implementing the 3 phases of quality control, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and the Design Team to identify and resolve any quality issues that arise. Monitoring and inspecting the performance of the Prime Contractor and Subcontractors during the construction performance to ensure the work meets contract design and specifications.
Requirements.
1. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
2. Understanding of construction standards, specifications, and safety standards.
3. Certification in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM) Certification, USACE based.
4. Minimum 2 year of QCM experience on NAVFAC and or USACE projects.
5. MS Office, Teams, RMS, ECMS, MS Project, P-6 experience strongly preferred.
6. Interpret blueprints and specifications, perform inspections.
7. Current EM 385, CPR, First Aid and OSHA 30 certifications.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, is a plus but may not be required with proof of 10 plus years in construction management.
