Local and growing company in El Cajon is looking to hire for a “Junior and Senior Low Voltage Technician”, essential service. Watchlight Corporation is looking for a candidate who is a motivated individual, has a positive attitude, and is a team player. We are looking to support the Public Safety sector and help our customers experience amazing service and help our Monitoring Division, protect and save lives. Our company has been in business since 1972, we offer cost-saving services and life safety technology and we even develop code/write our own mobile safety software.

We are hiring for a full time positions for Monday-Friday schedule. Schedule is based on an 8 hour shift with possibilities for over time. There are multiple opportunities for advancement within the company, depending on skill and competency level of the candidate.

We are looking to hire electrical trained talent to help integrate software technology & physical infrastructures in the booming Internet of Things (IoT) market.

Note: This position is not on temporary basis and we are looking for a long term relationship with a new candidate to be a part of our great collective team.

Position Details:

Full Time - Monday thru Friday - 8am to 5pm

$25.00 to $40.00 /hour D.O.E.

Driver's license required

Experience a plus, but training is offered

Responsibilities & Duties Include (but are not limited to):

-Assist in the installation of low voltage electrical systems such as: Alarm, Camera, Access Control, Fire, and Smart

-Home Systems

-Programming

-Service

-Networking

-Government Security Work

-Software Configuration

-Using / reading a multi-meter

-Using of hand tools

-Assist in the assembly of equipment and components required for a complete installation

Qualifications

You may qualify if you have the following experience:

Junior Technician: 1-3 years of prior experience

Senior Technician: 4+ years of prior experience

Electrical

Apprentice

Journeyman

Master

Builder

Fire Life Safety (Blue Card)

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour D.O.E
