General Job Description:
Working under the Shipping Manager, you will support the operation's shipping, receiving, and material movement needs as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving shipments, confirming quality of received goods, checking packing slips and Bills of Lading for accuracy
- Moving stock into inventory locations in the warehouse and facility
- Conducting physical inventory, and investigating any shortages or discrepancies
- Packaging finished goods, using stretch wrap and other packaging materials
- Prepare shipping labels, shipping documents, and other paperwork
- Maintaining excellent organization and cleanliness of the Shipping/Receiving Department and warehouse
- Perform other responsibilities to support the needs of the Shipping Department and Production as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to move quickly in your physical duties
- Bilingual in English and Spanish languages (preferred)
- Fork lift experience desirable (you will get fork lift certified at our company)
- Ability to self-start and work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the facility
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
