The Accounts Receivables/Payables performs varied and diversed accounting tasks.

Payables include, but are not limited to:

-Handles the process of matching, coding and entering large quantities of vendor bills.

-Review all submitted invoices for proper approvals and compliance with A/P policy.

-Pulls backup and distributes checks to vendors and employees.

-Answers all vendor inquiries and responds in a timely manner.

-Follow-up on invoices on statements by verifying payment and advising vendor of the same.

-Request W-9 forms from vendors and processes 1099's at year-end.

-Accurately reconciles multiple credit card and bank accounts with attention to detail.

-Sales Tax filing.

Accounts Receivable include, but are not limited to:

-Audit sales packets.

-Prepare aging reports used in the collection of all outstanding accounts receivable.

-Solve dispute issues and answer questions about invoices.

-Responsible for accurately posting payments to related accounts.

-Will work closely with the Accounting team.

Position will include some administrative duties as well.

-Order supplies for all departments; maintains supply levels.

-Effectively completes special projects under direction from management.

-Daily Distribution of mail and faxes. Updates and distributes company lists.

-Handles travel and hospitality.

-Manages special internal programs.

-Accurately maintains vendor and customer files - both electronic and paper.

-Run errands

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-4+ years in accounting.

-Above average communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and our internal team.

-Works independently or as a team member and willingly assists as needed and requested.

-Must be a team player and be able to fit into our culture of equality for all, as well as maintain a positive attitude.

-Must have interpersonal skills.

-Works efficiently and accurately with an ability to manage time and priorities with little or no supervision.

-Performs all duties with a close attention to detail.

-Proven ability to manage office documents, calendars, contacts, etc.

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

-Proven skills to assist with Company A/R, A/P and Invoicing.

-Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

-Accurate Data Entry - min. 45 wpm.

-Organizational skills.

-Efficient.

-Must have a valid CA driver license and be insurable.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly requird to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities requried by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
