Job Description Summary:The student must be an UNDERGRAD student to qualify.The student will help support field measurements, including sensor
cataloging, installation, calibration, and maintenance at the Marshall
Field site, and prepare and test sensors for other field site deployments.
The student may also assist with using and maintaining the NSF NCAR/FAA
Artificial Snow Generation System and help with testing upgrades. In addition
to these primary tasks, the student may assist with other field site
deployments, analyze data, and prepare plots for papers and presentations.The student may also travel to help maintain or install new field sites to
support this research based on availability, provided it doesn't interfere
with their school schedule.

Learn how to calibrate, install, maintain, and prepare sensors for
storage after use at the Marshall Field site and other field sites as the
school schedule allows. This will include performing simple electrical work
(e.g., soldering, working with a voltmeter, basic circuitry,
interpreting wiring schematics, etc.) and using common hand tools.Help develop and maintain a database of sensors.Provide analysis support for data collected from sensors and assist scientific
