SUMMARY
The lawn care crew foreman is responsible for upkeeping clients' lawns and is expected to be a capable leader when supervising others in this task. This position is full-time and seasonal from April to November.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee will regularly be outdoors during the summer months, and frequent hydration breaks are encouraged to prevent heat injury. The employee will regularly interact with other individuals at our company yard and our suppliers and is expected to act professionally to best represent Scapegoat Landscaping LLC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
-Have a basic mechanical understanding of lawnmowers, weedwhackers, aerators, and leaf blowers (electric or gas-powered, multiple makes and models)
-Utilize aforementioned tools to create an aesthetically pleasing and healthy lawn for our clients
-Identify deficiencies in lawn health and report any potential issues to superiors
-Professionally conduct themselves, particularly when working with clients or potential clients
-Maintain a safe work environment at all times (i.e. utilize eye and ear protection, mitigate potential risks with flammable fuels, drive safely, operate machinery with caution, etc.)
-Transport machinery to and from job sites in a timely manner
-Responsibly manage company charge accounts from suppliers
-Use company resources responsibly
-Train subordinates in all aforementioned tasks, and ensure they are maintaining best practices
-Conduct basic maintenance on mowers, aerators, and weedwhackers (to include but not limited to lubrication and oil changes, air filter replacement, lawn mower blade sharpening, and sparkplug replacement)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
The lawn care crew foreman must have a valid driver's license. Certifications in excavator or skid steer operation are incentivized, but not required.
