Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

Fabricate and cement temporary crowns

Clean and setup operatories for treatment

Place x-ray film and expose radiographs

Assist dentist using four-handed dentistry, assist with basic restorative procedures, including prosthodontics and restorative dentistry

Help with perio charting

Take impressions and pour models and fabricate retainers

Provide pre- and post-operative instructions

Dental Assistant Requirements (minimum)

1 year as an assistant in the dental field

Current Registered Dental Assistant certificate (preferred)

High school diploma or equivalent

Punctual

Engaging teamwork skills

Positive can do attitude

Attention to detail

Willingness to work hard

Learn and adapt to various work environments

Establish and maintain working relationships with appropriate carriers and vendors

Coordinate and collaborate with office team to ensure plans and solutions meet patient needs and expectations

Work independently or in a collaborative team environment

Attend required training/meetings
