Security Officer needed:
The Security Officer's are responsible for monitoring and maintaining a safe and secure environment for the employees and customers by patrolling the property and by utilizing company video monitoring equipment. They must also be able to transport money from one location of the facility to another. This is not a seasonal position.
Responsibilities of the Security Officer include:
Monitors video surveillance equipment.
Notifies management of any irregular changes or issues.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
Escorts customers and employees to their vehicles when needed
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshoots and calls for repairs on equipment as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Security.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures
Florida driver's license or State ID card
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must pass any and all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must obtain and retain a state-issued pari-mutuel wagering license
