Seeking Female PCAs willing to assist a young woman recovering from a spinal cord injury. A Florida State University PhD student planning to relocate to Tallahassee, from CT, by May 31st! Must be willing to fly to CT (at our expense) during a slot of time in April-May to train
Some Job Duties:
-Assist with bowel and bladder care
-Showering
-Dressing
-Food prep
-Transferring (2 person lift into shower chair, bed, or car)
-Light Housekeeping
-Errands
-Attend class with me and assist with laptop, books, etc.
MUST:
-Have compassion, courtesy, punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, be willing to travel
-Be willing to learn and be patient
-Have own transportation
-Have clean driving record
-Have official valid drivers license
-Have no criminal record
-Have social security number
-Speak English
-Be non-smoker
Background checks and drug tests will be performed.
Our shifts are from: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12pm-6pm, 6pm-12am These shifts may vary once school starts.
