Responsibilities:
Administer medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosage under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the care home.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for residents
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Maintain progress notes during the day
Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to follow medication administration protocols accurately and safely.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to assist and support others.
Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
