CRI Advantage is looking for Windows Technicians to upgrade computer systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10, including the installation of new computer workstations as needed throughout the entirety of INL campuses. These technicians must meet approved service level agreements for system availability, perform installation and configuration of Windows 10 workstations, software upgrades, maintain current patch levels on all desktop software, and deploy/inventory new hardware with a strong focus in customer service.

Special requirements: You will be part of a team working on a 4 to 9 month engagement. The work schedule will be a compressed "9/80s work schedule", which consists of eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, and one day off in a 2-week period. Depending on the current work location of the engagement, you may be required to work 4 10s.

Due to the government requirements you must be able to pass a government background check and able to obtain a HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) badge within 6 months of starting the position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Deployment and support of computer workstations including laptops, desktops, and tablet devices. Must be knowledgeable in the latest hardware technologies and system architectures related to Windows 10 workstations.

Maintain all desktop operating systems and all business software applications in a secured client environment. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop patching, hardware/software inventory, hardware installation, software upgrades and installations, and virus definitions updates. Responsible for Operating System deployment using a combination of desktop imaging products and SCCM. Must be familiar with boot and other command line utilities.

Requirements

Strong experience installing and configuring Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations

Windows 10 Essential Training and or equivalent Microsoft Certification

5 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office

Experience with current Windows operating systems on all platforms

Knowledge of OS deployment

Keen problem solving skills, ability to deal with complex situations and recommend a technical solution

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis in customer service

Must possess the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to learn new technology and stay well informed of current technical trends.
