Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.SummaryThis role performs tasks in a wide range of safety and security disciplines to achieve compliance with the Company's safety and security standards, and federal, state, regulatory. Assists in the implementation and maintenance of programs, systems, and procedures necessary to ensure the overall safety and security of employees. Participates in and schedules employee MSHA training and conducts contractor hazard training. Facilitates and participates in emergency preparedness training, maintains documentation and applicable databases. Works under the direction and supports the Safety Manager.Key Responsibilities
Assist with safety trainings
Maintains and coordinates all safety and training records
Maintains all rescue team and CPR records
Ensures that all Enablon records are maintained and completed in a timely manner
Assist with KPI tracking and creates graphs as needed
Typical Education
High School Diploma or GED
Relevant Experience
Safety experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organization and Time Management skills is a must
Experienced with training and speaking in front of others is a plus
Other InformationWillingness to learn and expand knowledge in a broad range of regulatory areas.
