Learn more about our award-winning organization by visiting stryker.com2nd shift: Sun - Thurs, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pmQC Technician II will train on 1st shift and then transition to 2nd shiftWho we want:Workstyle: Perform tasks that are generally routine and manual with high attention to detail.Performance: Deliver high quality products.Team Player: Build positive relationships with others to achieve common goals.Reliable: Manage time, to ensure being at work on time and effectively get the job done.What you will do:As the 2nd shift QC Technician II, you will be responsible for instrument maintenance, reagent preparation, and general laboratory support. Additional duties are listed below.

Prepare reagents and solutions used for routine and non-routine analyses, such as buffers, diluents, and culture media.

Responsible for login and disposal of QC samples.

Responsible for stocking laboratory supplies.

Perform laboratory maintenance activities including but not limited to equipment preventative maintenance, calibration, disposal of waste, and cleaning laboratory areas.

Perform laboratory glassware cleaning and stocking activities.

Perform routine and non-routine analysis for raw materials, in-process solutions, stability, and finish goods including, but not limited to identification testing, pH, appearance, taste, physical, and smell testing.

Support environmental monitoring and pharmaceutical water testing programs.

Perform other laboratory operations activities as needed.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

3+ years working in a Good Practice laboratory environment.

Associate Degree or higher in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related technical field with 0-1 year working in a Good Practice laboratory environment preferred

Experience working in current Good Manufacturing Practice preferred

Experience with common laboratory equipment such as balance, graduated cylinders, etc. preferred

Experience with solution preparation preferred
