Seeking live in care giver for elderly man with dementia. You will have your own room, access to two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, etc., in return you will have to care for patient from around 2 am-8am. This is care for my father who wakes up early at times, current care giver will put him back to bed, ultimately he wakes up at 330-4 am. We are looking for help for other care giver as she is waking up to help him out early in AM and having to help in in PM hours as well. A helper from the state come during the day and current caregiver then does evenings.
He dresses himself, can walk with help of walker. You would sometimes help him get around some, make him a light breakfast, administer a medication, light housekeeping, talk with him, and thats about it. There is no pay with this as the free room is provided.
