I am a 38 year old female in West Loop looking for open minded Personal Assistants to help with daily tasks. This is your opportunity to assist me in making my life better. The position can be part-time or full-time and pays $17.25/hr via DORS (DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION SERVICE. You must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record. A background in home health, nursing, or other care-giving is a plus, however, the right person can be trained.
No prior experience is necessary. This is the perfect opportunity for you to build your resume, especially if you hope to work in the medical field. All Personal Assistants are formally hired and provided training. It is an ideal position for those who are, or plan to become, medical students, physical therapists, or are just naturally attentive and want an interesting work environment. This position will include:
-Dressing/bathing/bathroom/other transfers
-Drive (or accompany on public transportation) to appointments and work
-Light housekeeping and pet care
-Work with tracheotomy tube and ventilator (training provided)
-Other duties as assigned
