We are looking for Fiber Optic Splicing Technicians to join our team. We will train and prepare a technician to become a qualified candidate. Our technicians will terminate, test, troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic networks. He/she will have working knowledge of aerial and underground systems, fiber types and counts, fusion splicing, fiber strippers, cleavers, aerial booms, power meter and OTDR testers. We splice both ribbon and lose-tube fiber, single and multi-mode.
This position requires the ability to work various shifts, travel, work in varying outside weather, lift 50 pounds, have a valid driver's license, be insurable and be able to obtain a Medical Card.
