Speech Language Pathologist AnthroMed Education is a local practice dedicated to supporting Speech Language Pathologists in their school-based careers across the Chicagoland area. Our team is the heart and soul of what we do, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and support you need to continue changing students' lives. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who can work full-time and support onsite for one of our amazing charter school districts in Lake County, IL. In this role, the selected candidate will be supporting a wide range of students ranging from K-8th grade. The caseload consists of 35-40 students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role will require the selected candidate to work Monday-Friday doing onsite therapy. A positive bonus to this position is that the SLP joining will be working alongside our other SLP who works for this school and they will collaborate throughout the school year. This position is starting immediately in January 2024 until the end of the school year! CFs are welcome to apply. We look forward to speaking with you soon! SLP Job Duties Include:

Provide Speech-Language therapy services to K-8th grade students.

Manage a caseload of 35-40 students.

Complete the required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.

Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.

Work collaboratively to ensure student's needs are met.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.

Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.

Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.

Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.

Other duties as assigned.

SLP Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current and Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License

Current and Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
