NO Sales Experience Or Degrees of Higher Education Necessary: There is an art and science to insurance sales, but the skills needed fall considerably short of those needed to paint a Picasso or design a spacecraft. If you hold a higher degree, it is nearly an absolute certainty you've taken harder tests in your life than what is required to get an insurance license. If you don't have a college degree, don't be discouraged by a test. Bartenders, servers, hairdressers, concrete workers, truck drivers, ranch hands, car salesmen/women and more have passed this test. It takes a few hours of dedicated reading and studying. Note, the emphasis is on hours not years to earn certification to give you the opportunity to enjoy a career where good communicators regardless of prior employment history will undoubtedly earn six figures and beyond.
