Description For more information contact Stacey Bowman at 859-788-3661We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant in Lexington, Kentucky. This role will involve managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, overseeing the accounting system for consistency and accuracy, and communicating with staff, external clients/customers, and management as needed.Location: North Lexington, KY (Fully onsite 8:30am-4:30pm)Responsibilities: Leading the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes through their lifecycle Coordinating with departments/staff to prepare and send all invoices Maintaining customer and vendor financial information and managing the accounting system for consistency, accurate entry, and accurate reporting of all accounts Monitoring customer, vendor, and participant account details for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities Carrying out collection duties in relation to unpaid invoices and other monies owed Overseeing the management of the general ledger accounts Ensuring consistency of existing accounting systems through creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures Preparing, analyzing, and providing accurate reports to company management and Board regarding business processes and financials Analyzing financial costs, revenues, obligations, and other data to predict future revenues and expenses Preparing timesheets and expense reports for approval, and recording data in company systems Overseeing timekeeping activities and records, and submitting and auditing payroll data turned in to payroll vendor Coordinating with HR and payroll vendor to ensure compliance in all avenues that relate to finance.Requirements Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper for at least 2 years Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Experience in Billing Functions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organization and time-management abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is a plus.
