Duties:
Implement regulatory-compliant EMV hardware and software
Link each store computer system to the corporate office via broadband
Develop and maintain software architecture for the overall program in accordance with business objectives to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information such as sales, gas prices; and inventory;
Develop and maintain software program to report stores daily orders, rejects and returns;
Develop a system which will enable only the corporate office to change or delete information on the individual store computers and cash registers;
Assess the veracity of software architecture based on established software engineering principles
Design, implement, debug, and test software for real-time embedded system control of systems. Develop software tools and scripts to support data exchanges between embedded controllers.
Confer with supervisor and store managers concerned with program to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls
Conceptualize, design, construct, test and implement portion of business and technical information technology solutions through applications of appropriate software development life cycle methodology; interact with different vendors and departments to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context , and organizational strategies;
Define scope, plan and deliverables for assigned project. Collects, identifies, defines and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements;
Participate in business and information technology solutions implementations, upgrades, enhancements and conversions; understand and use of appropriate case tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and technical problems;
Establishes and maintain internet-based security for each store location linked directly to corporate office via broadband.
Responsible for any Network / Server related queries and ensuring that the Network / Server are running smoothly.
Requirements:
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer
Engineering
Experience:2 years of experience in the job offered or Sr. Networking Supervisor, or closely related job. Experience to include experience in support of Window NT and Exchange Messaging Server, and Microsoft ISA firewall Server.
