INDUSTRIAL ABRASIVE BLAST & SPRAY PAINTER in our industrial division.
Shreveport and East Texas Area
Job Requirements
Must have current drivers license, be approved to work in the United States and limited convictions.
Good working knowledge of industrial coatings including surface preparation, coating installation, safety and rigging
Able to troubleshoot equipment and materials
Good personal background and driving record
Drug Free
Must fulfill annual training requirements which are typically hosted by Martin and industry trade groups
High school degree or equivalent
Good math, writing and grammar skills
Physically able to perform tasks which include stooping, bending and squatting for extended periods and able to lift 50 lbs. On a consistent basis
Installation and working knowledge for the following:
Various surface preparation specifications and the required quality control measures to ensure results
Installation of all types of epoxy, urethane, high heat, zinc and other industrial coatings
Quality control knowledge on coating application including coating measurement
Working understanding of ambient conditions and impact on coating installation
Rigging and climbing
Safety and personal protection measures
Travel- Typically, this would be approximately 10 to 20% of the time. There would be weekend and off hour scheduling to accommodate the customers schedule.
