The Portland Lobster Company is seeking a full time seasonal manager to help take the lead at our busy restaurant this summer. This position would take a supervisory role across all aspects of the restaurant, and help lead our team through our high volume days. Responsibilities would include:
Assisting our management team in making sure our customers are satisfied with every aspect of their experience with us
ensuring staff remain on task and focused on daily procedures
performing opening and or closing operations, including locking up a few nights a week or unlocking a few mornings.
jumping in and helping where needed, whether in the kitchen, FOH, or bar to ensure customers are offered the best possible service
assisting with cash in and out procedures of bartenders and cashiers.
engaging with customers regularly to ensure they are satisfied with their experience.
The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in high volume operations, with knowledge of both the FOH and BOH. Ideally this would be a 40-50 hour a week position, with flexibility for nights and weekends.
