Attorney needed to save our Coastal Volunteer Rescue Station.

Maine, Maine 00000 Maine USA
Apply Now

Our Rescue Unit is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit corporation in good standing with the State of Maine. (see HBVRU.ORG).

NEWLY LICENSED ATTORNEY OR HIGHLY EXPERIENCED PARALEGAL ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND AS THE ISSUE IS VERY CLEAR.

OUR VOLUNTEER COASTAL COMMUNITY 'RESCUE UNIT' IS IN NEED OF LEGAL ASSISTANCE TO SAVE OUR LAND AND BUILDING (RESCUE STATION) FROM BEING STOLEN FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEVERAL INDIVIDUALS WANTING TO CAPTURE OUR REAL ESTATE IN A HOSTILE TAKEOVER TO CONVERT OUR RESCUE STATION INTO THEIR PRIVATELY CONTROLLED CLUBHOUSE.

The Rescue Unit has always been operated strictly by volunteers and their purpose has always been to assist in saving lives and property and to provide shelter to people in the community whose homes may have been affected by storm damage, loss of power especially during frigid temperatures, and other cries for help.

BACKGROUND: the volunteers of the Rescue Unit acquired a small parcel of land in 1978 for which to build a coastal community rescue station, and did, and has owned it ever since it was constructed and still does to this day.

As we have seen in these past few months of the perils of some harsh northeast storms there is always the need for additional help when such tragedies strike.

This volunteer unit owns the land and built the 2-story all volunteer rescue station from the funds we had raised and paid off the mortgage loan we obtained from a local banking institution to purchase all the building materials. The Rescue Station building was built by the volunteers of the Rescue Unit and not by any other community source nor by any government assistance. See photos and details at HBVRU.ORG.

The Rescue Unit volunteers want to continue its original purpose of contributing to the people of this community by coming to the peoples' needs and more importantly at this time by use of other lifesaving rescue equipment, such as, sea search and rescue boats, power generators to produce electricity to power lights and its heating system for warmth and shelter to residents during storms and power outages, etc., especially during severe northeast winter storms.

Several individuals in a newly formed organization is presently trying to seize control and ownership of our Rescue Station so that these individuals can then transform the Rescue Unit's land and Rescue Station (building, furnishings and equipment) into their very own 'privately controlled clubhouse'.

We need the assistance of a compassionate, honest attorney (or attorneys) to come to the rescue of this Rescue Unit corporation .

An attorney coming to our needs as a pro bono attorney would be especially appreciated, or on a contingency basis, or some other cooperative workable arrangement to pay for (hopefully reasonable) services over time via Rescue Unit fundraising drives.

We need a rescue attorney to come to our aid to counter this attempt to seize our Rescue Unit Corporation's assets, and to preserve this worthy cause for the caring of the people of the community (and other nearby communities) in Biddeford, Maine.

In responding via email, please insert the words: "RESCUE UNIT" in the subject line.

Thank you!
