Overnight Masters Level Clinician (Southeast Emergency Service Program Cape Cod/Islands, Hyannis)

Schedule: Overnight 11pm-7am

Salary: $52,000 - $55,000

Bay Cove Human Services, Inc., a leading Massachusetts human services organization seeks an Masters Level Clinician to join us in our mission to provide high-quality services to adults who face the life-long challenges of developmental disabilities, mental illness and drug and alcohol dependency. The Masters Level Clinician will assess and coordinate stabilization services for adults and children who are experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Services will be delivered at the Urgent Care Center as well as where the client is at. Bay Cove is looking for people who are inspired and inspiring.

You will:

Deliver Services - Assess each persons needs on-site for services and develops a treatment plan that best ensures safety and effective resolution of the crisis.

These assessments could be on-site at the persons home, school or agency.

Work with a Collaborative Spirit - Work with community based health, behavioral health and social services that can deliver urgently needed services to the client.

Facilitate the persons admission to acute treatment services as needed.

Ensure a Safe Environment - Effectively work with clients their family members, police, community partners, and the Emergency Services Team in a professional, hopeful, and respectful manner to ensure the clients safety.

Teach, Coach and Train - Provides guidance and oversees staff, students and support/peer personnel.

What you will need to bring:

Clinical Licensure - Masters level clinician, license highly preferred; Track Record - At least three years experience working in a mental health setting; demonstrated experience observing people in crisis, noting symptoms and nonverbal behaviors.

License - Current MA Drivers License and use of reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.

Communication skills - Demonstrated experience with related administrative functions.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation Skills - Demonstrated experience in handling difficult situations so they become more positive and productive.
