The Company:
Design Ergonomics is an established design firm with a 20-year history designing office spaces for the Health Care industry with the ability to serve clients across the country. We have a design philosophy which has created a portfolio of practices that lead the nation in productivity, efficiency, and comfort. We are looking to grow our very successful, small but nimble design team, and are looking for a qualified, and motivated individual to join our busy team.
The Position:
We are seeking an Interior Design Associate to work alongside and assist the Lead Interior Designer. The goal is to create a nurturing environment specific to the clients esthetic and practice goals while incorporating patient and staff comfort, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and longevity of the clients investment. A continuous balance of skilled artistic considerations with a commitment to delivering the highest quality material finishes with awareness of industry technology, costs and timelines is a must! Candidates should look forward to:
Collaborating with ID Lead to fully understand client esthetics
Working to create, compose and manage Interior Design vision boards
Completing Revit drawings for interiors to include all elevations, room finishes, door, and rcp schedules
Communicating with the client and their team throughout the entire design process
Packing and sending samples to clients in addition to maintaining and updating sample library
Seeking the most current design, tech trends, and technology for our clients and showroom
Continuous personal and professional development including seeking most current design and tech trends
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (will consider students close to completion) or an Interior Architecture Degree in Interior Design
Experience working in the Interior Design field is a plus!
Experience in Revit or other CG rendering software
Full understanding of a variety of design styles; current trends as well as the classics
Strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and workflow while meeting identified deadlines
Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work independently as well as a member of our Team
Ability to conceptualize creative concepts and recommending cost-effective creative solutions

The Location:
You dont have to drive to Boston to design multi-million dollar facilities. Design Ergonomics is conveniently located right off of route 24 in Fall River, Massachusetts which is less than a 20-minute commute from Providence, RI.
