Responsibilities:
Regular and maintained attendance according to scheduled work shift is required
Must work according to all safety rules and regulations.
Ability to work with blueprints, schematics and PLC program listing to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and solid state equipment.
Must be responsive in correcting electrical problems of machine technicians.
Maintain adequate electrical supplies and repair parts to service machinery and prevent any prolonged down time.
Required to submit requisitions for purchase orders to Supervisor for repair parts or any other material required in his/her area of responsibility as needed.
Responsible for the quality of his/her own work.
Perform necessary preventative, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance required to upkeep production and building electrical equipment including AC & DC drives, PLC and other system controls.
Maintain plant emergency lighting system, including weekly performance check.
Responsible for housekeeping in his/her work area.
Maintain any logs or records required by State or Federal codes, or company procedures.
