We are a small family hardware store in the Traverse City area and we need someone who will help us care for customers.
This job is to get to know regular customers, greeting everyone with a warm smile, friendly banter and calling them by name as best you can. It is an opportunity to be a bright spot in the day of many people!
The right candidate for this position will take great fulfillment in helping customers find the right products for the project at hand. Additionally, you should have an outgoing personality with the ability to perform price checks and minor data entry while answering phone calls and directing people to the proper aisle. Even better if you are an avid fisher who loves to discuss bait and tackle!
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
-Stocking shelves
-Assisting with seasonal displays
-Processing DNR licenses
-Filling and exchanging propane tanks
