Nisswa Smiles is seeking a full time insurance and treatment coordinator - we are a busy, fast paced state-of-the-art dental office. The candidate we are looking for should be an outstanding individual who is self motivated and a team player. Individual must have a positive attitude, be organized, the ability to multi task, and have great people skills. Experience in healthcare or dental field required. Prefer a licensed dental assistant who is experienced with all administrative duties, insurance knowledge, EagleSoft dental software, and accounts receivables. We will provide on job training to the right candidate!
Job duties include:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner with a smile.
Schedule and confirming appointments.
Answering multi-line phone calls.
Registering patient's into dental software.
Prepare new patient charts neatly and accurately.
Perform basic, filing, and clerical duties.
Create and send weekly patient statements, contact and collect on delinquent patient accounts.
Verify all insurance information and submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations, follow up on delinquent insurance claims.
Manage and enter all accounts receivables - including insurance payments and patient payments.
Collect and distribute parcels and other mail.
Multitasking and team oriented and most importantly willing to learn and grow in the administrative role.
Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing.
Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing to appropriate departments, as necessary.
Various office duties as assigned by Office Manager
