Restaurant Alma was founded in 1999 by Alex Roberts (James Beard Foundation award: Best Chef Midwest 2011, semi finalist Outstanding Chef 2016 & 2017, semi finalist Outstanding Restaurant 2018) and serves a dinner-only seasonal tasting menu inspired by both traditional and contemporary cooking. The kitchen at Alma sources the highest quality ingredients and is committed to supporting local and sustainable agriculture.
The Cafe kitchen, which is shared with Restaurant Alma each night, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The menus are built on the same standards for ingredient sourcing and traditional recipes as our restaurant, but served in an approachable a la carte format.
Menus include everything from snacks to full meals and feature a wide range of items including extensive seasonal vegetable preparation, traditional sauces, hearth baked breads, extruded pasta and whole animal butchery.
