If so, we want to talk with you about a position on our Inside Sales team.
Located in our Oakdale, MN office, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for achieving library sales in an assigned territory. The BDR is responsible for generating leads, cultivating existing opportunities and proactively selling solutions by phone. The BDR will collaborate with the outside sales team to give great customer service. Bibliotheca is the market leader for security and library management products and services.
To be successful in this role, the following is necessary:
ï Work directly with library customers via telephone and email to describe our products and/or services to identify selling opportunities.
ï Execute sales and marketing campaigns to new and existing customers.
ï Accurately capture notes into our CRM system.
ï Respond to customer emails and phone calls.
ï Follow through on all commitments to ensure 100% customer satisfaction in the sales process.
ï Create quotes and process orders from your territory.
ï Continue to gain product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and bibliotheca in the eyes of the library customer.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of outbound sales experience.
Post-secondary education. Major in business or sales and marketing is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
ï Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
ï Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ï Able to work both with your team and independently to ensure a seamless customer experience
ï Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output;
ï Able to quickly learn new technology applications, company products and library industry;
