The Doe Run Company is seeking a Yard Equipment Operator to safely operate mobile equipment in order to facilitate the proper movement and transfer of waste material. This position will be located at The Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO.Education and Experience:

Three to five years of experience with heavy mobile equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Mobile equipment certification (provided upon hire).

Environmental safety and health rules and regulations training (provided upon hire).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- - Ability to identify feeds and waste.

- Ability to learn plant layout.

- Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations regarding material handling and storage.Responsibilities:

Operate haul trucks and end loaders; move feeds and transfer waste material.

Transport material and place in proper storage location.

Ensure compliance with environmental requirements regarding the proper movement and storage of lead bearing material.

Perform pre-shift safety inspections on mobile equipment and perform maintenance tasks such as tightening, lubricating, and cleaning (TLC).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment, Physical and Lifting:

Regularly required to wear personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, respirator, hearing protection and eyewear.

Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions and vibration.

Occasionally exposed to extreme heat. Exposed to loud noise levels.

Occasionally works in confined spaces and at heights of four feet or more.

Regularly requires driving; frequently requires sitting and grasping; occasionally requires feeling attributes of objects, pushing, and reaching with hands/arms.

Requires clarity of vision, three-dimensional vision, the ability to judge distance and spatial relationships, and precise hand-eye coordination.

Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds; frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to lift up to 75 pounds.
