Jonesen Web Design is looking for a Web Designer with a passion and eye for creating beautiful, intuitive websites and web applications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Creating wireframes/mockups with intuitive design flow to optimize user experience
Developing a fully functioning website from a set of approved mockups
Work with project managers understand project deliverables and come up with creative solutions
Troubleshoot and diagnose support requests and work to resolve issues in a timely manner
Craft products with web based technologies: HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, Wordpress, DNS Records/Management
Guide product development with an emphasis on UX design
Communicate technical and design terms/ideas effectively to non-technical customers
Ability to come up with creative solutions and explain your logic to the project team
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred
3+ years experience working in web development
Proficient with design software (Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe Suite)
Strong working knowledge of Wordpress and web based technologies
Experience using web based collaboration tools (Slack, Github, Trello, Asana, etc)
Ability to work on multiple projects at a time while delivering high quality work within set timelines
Solid understanding of UX/UI design & user centered design principles
Solid interpersonal communication skills - must be comfortable communicating with team members & clients
Self starter capable of remaining focused/diligent while working on a geographically spread team
Person of high character and personal integrity
