QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Current Pediatric First Aid/AED/CPR certification from an accredited institution. One year prior experience in child care or other related field.

Knowledge of hotel, resort and/or club operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Implements and leads activities such as games, crafts, and outside programming.
Communicates with parents, children, co-workers regarding all events and activities.
Supervises and entertains up to 15 children, aged 3-11.
Prepares and plans activities and completes all tasks in a timely manner, as outlined by supervisors.
Cleans up after scheduled activities.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide support to other departments during special events.
Other duties as assigned by the Activities Director and other members of the Senior Management Team as deemed appropriate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of the job, the Child Care Attendant is required to stand, walk, handle or feel objects, stoop bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to climb or balance. The associate must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. In addition, this individual will need to participate and supervise physical and active games with children. Some activities will require working outdoors in inclement weather.
