Join our team today.Position DetailsReports to Hector HerediaDirect oversight of 1 to 10 DriversHours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Starting at $26.00 per hour and can pay higher based on experienceResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associatesSupervise and coordinate the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperworkEnsure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and orderlyEnsure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completedMaintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch managementMay be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilitiesQualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.Valid state issued license is required.Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.A strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience is preferredMaterial Handling Equipment Certification and a valid Class CDL is a plusA working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulationsGood judgment and decision-making abilitiesGreat communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a teamFerguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
