Champagne Family Dentistry is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant with experience assisting in Oral Surgery. The ideal candidate has at least 2Âyears in general dentistry and oral surgery. Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus.
The Oral Surgeon Assistant:
works chair side as the dentist examines and treats patients.
assists with surgical procedures.
prepares surgical trays.
takes X-rays.
prepares patient for treatment, and instructs patient on postoperative and general oral health care.
is experienced in working with patients under sedation and possesses a calm, professional demeanor while working with patients who may be experiencing anxiety or stress due to procedure.
sets up and breaks down operatory post treatment.
