Assistant General Manager/ Floor Manager
We are seeking a manager that can one day grow into the position of GM.
We are seeking an experienced AGM/ Floor Manager to join our passionate team at our lively, new restaurant and bar in Hoboken, NJ!
The role will work side-by-side with and report to our General Manager. The successful candidate will excel at service and operations; thrive in a high volume and lively environment and have a positive, "can do" attitude!
The AGM/ Floor Manager will have significant supervisory responsibility and assist the Beverage Director and Managers with a full array of tasks, including assuming full charge of the dining room floor and bar, hiring, training and professional development, sanitation and safety, cash handling, system programming, service training and staff planning to achieve maximum efficiencies and profitability, ensuring consistency of service, deliverables and further quality control, inventorying, pricing, purchasing, cost controls and security measures, maintenance and upkeep in the space; and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the gm.
We seek someone who is passionate about food and hospitality, loves the business and will be excited to be a part of a motivated restaurant team.
Prospective candidates should have six or more years of relevant experience.
