Under general supervision this position drives the 26' Company truck (or other vehicles) over an established route(s) to deliver products and/or picks up products. Additionally, this position fulfills all shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Assist shipping and receiving , unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
Assisting in counting of physical inventory
Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Completing other assignments and helping others on the team as required
Deliveries are made throughout the tri state area so the ability to do long distance driving is crucial
Qualification Requirements
Valid Driver’s License Required
Forklift Operator experience
Strong verbal communication skills
Proactive and outgoing nature
Basic math skills
Reliability and dependability
