Assist in the installation and maintenance of waterfeatures with an award winning waterfeature company serving the northern NJ area. You will be taught the proper way to design, install and maintain waterfeatures (ponds/waterfalls/custom fountains). You will be taught how to troubleshoot leaks and other issues and how to solve them. Opportunity for advancement within the company and pay rate increases and bonuses. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Mature – Reliable – Organized – Honest – Detail Oriented and Safety conscious. MUST be fluent in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing in English.
Ideal candidate will be polite, presentable, creative, self motivated, able to follow directions, attention to details, able to work with others and independently throughout the course of the day and be a team player.
Must be 18 years or older.
Social Security card or work authorization permit required.
Valid and CLEAN NJ drivers license and able to safely Drive NON CDL truck and trailer combination at times.
Available to work Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm and Saturdays as needed. (Start and end times may change as needed)
Must have own reliable transportation to and from work, our yard is in Bergenfield.
Able to lift up to 55lbs throughout the work day.
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and squat throughout the work day.
Willing to get hands dirty and work outside under adverse weather conditions when needed.
Good communication skills – must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Prior experience in landscape construction with verifiable references with a minimum of 3 years experience required.
PLUSES
Knowledge of waterfeature industry. Building and Maintaining eco-system based waterfeatures.
Experience operating skidsteers, mini excavators, walk behind loaders and other equipment.
Willing to participate in company events as needed.
Willing to attend educational seminars and events to further your education and abilities.
