BA or BS degree in chemistry related fields 2. Must have at least one year of laboratory experience in the analysis of drinking water, water pollution, solid/hazardous waste samples or air samples 3. Must have at least 2-3 years of ICP/MS operating experience (performing instrument troubleshooting is plus) a. It takes candidates 6 months to get certified to use ICP-MS – they want someone already certified and hit the ground running.
