We are sustainable landscape and permaculture design/build/maintenance company specializing in land restoration, watershed restoration, passive and active water harvesting, native landscaping, edible landscaping and food production. Gardener Position
We are looking for individuals with experience in a landscape maintenance setting. To join us you must have some of the following experience (the more the better):
Gardening Experience: installation and maintenance.
Plant Knowledge: plant identification, plant selection and composition, planting and maintenance.
Basic Irrigation Knowledge: troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, winterization, spring activation.
Strong Communication Skills: written and spoken english, ability to communicate with clients, maintain organized records,
Attention to Detail: ability to read the landscape and understand what work needs to be done and be able to ensure it is done well.
Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record.
Experienced Landscape Labor Positions
We are looking for additional experienced landscapers to join our crew. To join us you must have some of the following experience (the more the better):
General Plant Knowledge (native, ornamental and edible species) (plant installation and care)
Irrigation Knowledge (basic troubleshooting and repair) (ground up construction of systems)
Tool Experience (understanding of basic landscape tools and their appropriate use)
Stone Work Experience (mossrock, flagstone, pavers, etc).
Skid Steer and Backhoe Experience (basic safe operation).
Plumbing and Electrical Experience (water harvesting conveyance, irrigation, low voltage lighting)
Water Harvesting Experience (below and above ground storage, conveyance, pumps, refills, etc)
Erosion Control Experience (basic erosion control techniques).
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Written and spoken English language skills and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
